  • Yesterday, I went out and took a few of the ROCK girls out to dinner.  We went to Numero Uno, because I was craving their thick crust pizza.  It was soooo good.....  Anyway, we had some left over and I took a slice of pizza home, so I can have it for lunch today.  So this morning, I grabbed my food from the refrigerator and ran out the door.  As I was driving into work, I was wondering why my food was not in the plastic bag I put it in last night.  So I opened the box and what do I see?!?!?!  I see a half eaten pizza and a half eaten chicken tender.  HOW RUDE!  This is the works of my younger brother.
Of course this is not the first time this has happened to me.   Another time, I had  teriyaki chicken over rice leftover.  So I took it home, thinking it would be a great lunch the next day.  That day, I was starving and couldn't wait to eat my teriyaki chicken over rice leftover.  12:30 rolled around and I was getting ready to warm it up.  I opened the box, only to find rice and a bit of teriyaki sauce left on the rice, but NO CHICKEN.  HOW RUDE!  This is the works of my older brother.
What have I learned from this experience?  Don't bring good leftover home or beware of missing food.

  • I love LA.  I can’t imagine moving anywhere else, because the weather is sooo awesome here in So Cal.  Its tank top and flip flop weather year round.  What more can you ask for?  Plus, I’m less then an hour away from the beach, two hours from the snow, 3 hours from Vegas, 7 hours to SF, 2 hours to SD and 30 minutes from LAX.  I love it!  But I’m already itching to take another trip.  Next year….GREECE!

This weekend was very eventful.  On Saturday, I went to a Stila make-up warehouse sale, where I got a lot of great deals.  Lucky for me, I couldn’t over spend because I was limited with cash, so I only purchased what I would use.  Some people were buying over $300 worth of make-up.  Unless they’re a make-up artist or have an ebay store, I don’t know how they can use it all.  I went to a baby shower and then had Indian Food.  YUM!  Sunday was just as fun….went to church, ramen for lunch, hung out and road a bike at the beach and ended the day at a friend going shing dig.

After my weekend was over, I went home and crashed.  Sometime, I think I’m more exhausted over my weekend then my work week.

I know I’m rambling on this journal, but that’s only because I haven’t written in a while and wanted to share my fun and eventful weekend.  I’ll try to write more.

  • Have you ever worked hard on something, pouring sweat and tears into it and then have seeing it being taken away.  Well, that’s life right now.  I’ve worked hard, worked many hours, hoping to get more responsibilities and opportunity to work on new projects.

Then comes in a new person and all the new and challenging projects are snatched away and I now I sit on the sideline waiting for whatever is leftover to trickle down to me.  It sucks and it’s not fair and I’m not a happy camper, but that’s life.

  • It's been a very interesting day....I was treated to a spa day this afternoon, so I skipped out after lunch and spent the afternoon getting a facial and massage.  It was sooo nice and relaxing.  There were some random moments and coincident.  The girl that gave me my facial grew up just two blocks away.  She's two years older, but we went to the same elementary school and knew similar people.  It’s such a small world.  Also, as I was talking to my rep, we ended up talking about religion and she happens to be a Christian, who's married to a pastor.  So I got some good food for thought from a pastor wife.  It was very refreshing and encouraging.  I spent the rest of the evening at a friends house, eating, hanging out and celebrating my friend pregnancy.  Many babies are being born this year...exciting times.
